INFIELD CONDITIONING

 

Being in weight room shape and being on-field in shape are two very different in our game. In our Infield Conditioning we are focused on executing drills in a High Intensity Interval Training that will lead to our increase of VO2 max. We focus on making cuts, jumping and landing, our speed drill latters, hurdling from side to side and many more. During our conditioning work we are also working on our Focus once we have learned and can take up the level of difficulty we then bring in the aspects of catching objects - and catching and transferring objects in movement. 

 

Our goal in our Infield Conditioning is to build up our athletes VO2 max which allows them to train at high levels and to compete without getting as tired. As players we are put into moments through the game that we can not think about but must rely on our training to take over to execute plays at a high level. We want to test our players while having fun and developing the skills and muscle memory to make the elite plays and routine plays throughout a game.
